Stephen Shimek is a Los Angeles based feature film director and co-founder of the independent film production company, Escapology. After the success of his directorial debut in 2007 Stephen has worked steadily in the film industry, directing multiple internationally successful and award winning films. He is currently directing a trilogy of films in the Miranda Green Mystery franchise, the second of which, Murder at the Embassy, was released theatrically in 2025.
